Zig At The Gig With Matthew Scheuermann of lowercase roses
Interview with singer-songwriter Matthew Scheuermann of No Target audience, Americain War, The Sidekicks, and most recent lowercase roses.
On Titanic planet, Philly’s Matthew Scheuermann got his start in the midwestern indie-rock outfit The Sidekicks and has been making beautiful, home-recorded projects under the name lowercase roses for the past six years. Where his previous releases circled around acoustic, Elliot Smith-esque introspection (2014’s self-titled EP) and heady, indie-stoner isolation (2017’s Surgical Pop), the new Titanic Planet, out today, takes elements of both of those releases and elevates them in an emphatic, emotional beacon of uncertain, but hopeful pop / rock.

Also, we aim to collect as many kitted/crocheted infant hats, blankets, and booties as possible to donate to the NICU.
Amy is a mother of two and a passionate full-time teacher who teaches adapted core curriculum at a charter school for kids with autism.
Amy has recently had some pregnancy complications, which led to weeks in the hospital and the premature birth of her second son at 31 weeks.
Amy has always gone over and beyond for all of her students. We are attempting to do the same to help her and her family during these trying times.
Hope Hearts are small crocheted hearts ( designed by Amy) in which one stays with the infant at the NICU and the other stays with the parent, so that way both parent and child will always have a piece of each other even when they can't be together.
Email clevelfourfour@gmail.com to donate made goods/ or drop them off at one of the shows listed below.
Amy was admitted to the hospital at 29 weeks, on September 3rd, when she began leaking amniotic fluid due to a preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM). During her hospital stay, Amy received antibiotics and steroids to help prevent infection and develop baby Liam's lungs. On September 21st, Liam Bruce Evans was born at 31 weeks and 6 days after a placental abruption. He weighed 4 lbs 15oz and was 17 in long. Liam has been lucky to have no serious complications from his premature birth. Due to his lungs being underdeveloped when he was born, he has been on and off cpap to give his lungs time to mature. He still experiences occasional apnea (periods of decreased heart rate and extended pauses in breathing) when breathing on his own. Right now he is working on gaining weight, breathing on his own full time, and drinking from a bottle instead of using a feeding tube so that he can go home. The money from this fundraiser will go to helping the family pay bills during Amy's extended maternity leave as well as child care for Liam until his immune system is ready for him to attend daycare

Zig At The Gig With King Yellowman
2021 Interview with Raggae Legend Yellowman !!!
King Yellowman has an incredible history in Reggae music. His upbringing at the Maxfield Home orphanage in Kingston and being albino in Jamaica were two obstacles he overcame and went on to be (at one time) the biggest reggae artist since Bob Marley. After winning a talent contest at Tastee Patties in Kingston, Yellow went on to excite reggae crowds all over Jamaica and the rest of the world with his boastful and sometimes bodacious lyrics. His ability to ride rhythm and excite a crowd made Yellow an instant hit in Jamaica. He also began to work with the Ace Sound System in St. Thomas and drew big crowds at his dancehall performances. Later in his career, Yellow began to spread out and work for a number of different producers, sometimes releasing as many as five albums per year. This led to a recording contract with CBS Records. Yellowman recorded one album with them before he was diagnosed with jaw cancer and was given six months to live. This was in 1986. After surgery an extended leave of absence from the record industry, Yellowman began his comeback with the song "Blueberry Hill", and his career was re-launched. His first album for RAS came from producer Phillip 'Fatis' Burrell and was called "Yellow Like Cheese". Coincidentally this was the start of a long and fruitful relationship with RAS and Yellowman and also RAS and 'Fatis' and his exterminator production. Yellowman has always been very professional to work with and always a respectful and reliable human being. He has managed to outlive his predicted fate of death and his performances are incredibly lively as he seems to have an unlimited amount of stage energy. We can only hope for the best for Yellowman. He has continued his hard work and his devotion to his family is to be complimented. The rudest Dancehall toaster of the 1980s, Jamaica's albino son Yellowman made as many enemies as fans with his controversial, often overtly sexist (if tongue in cheek) lyrics. Now back on the Ragga scene, singing at a slightly slower pace, Yellowman's witticisms are as cheeky, spirited, and intelligent as ever, and delivered with his customary sharp, melodic style.

Zig At The Gig with Eliy Orcko Part 3
Former skate punk Eliy Orcko was born in a small town west of Cleveland, OH. His family relocated to South Florida where he spent a majority of his formative years. His first outlet in music started out in the punk scene in South Florida that quickly pushed him into the hardcore & post hardcore genre as he developed. Eliy constantly expresses he had no interest of being anything until recently, finding much of himself in his current years rapping after a long time of “bumming” around the west coast and coming back to Ohio to collect himself. Eliy’s music is a mixture of Hiphop, Soul, Jazz, Indie, Punk, and Folk pulling from influences like Mos Def to Bon Iver, Jeff Rosenstock, Kid Cudi, The Ink Spots, Kanye West and BloodStone. Allot of vocal melodies shine in Eliy’s music that gives him a different sound than most artist in the “Hiphop” genre, really giving him a sound of his own to hone in on while still using the classic boom bap format. Eliy is a very versatile artist with allot of content, and creativity willing to explore new sounds & mediums to grow and develop as an over all artist.
